Planet Fitness in Birmingham, AL is seeking a dedicated Member Services Representative. You will welcome members, assist them in achieving fitness goals, and help maintain a clean, inviting club environment.

Responsibilities include promoting Black Card amenities, supporting desk duties, and encouraging member engagement. Must be 18+, dependable, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. This role offers growth within a supportive, judgment-free culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide members with an unprecedented experience and encourage them in achieving their fitness goals.
• Create “raving fans” by delivering +1% customer service and continually engaging members.
• Maintain a super clean club environment, which members value.
• Find new and current members to join the fitness trainer in fitness classes.
• Introduce new and existing members to our Black Card amenities.
• Assist at the welcome desk with member check‑in, greetings, farewells, tours, enrollment, and other club responsibilities.
• Be a leader, be passionate, love what you do, have fun, and invite members to do the same.
• Work a variable schedule that may involve any hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Birthdate that confirms you are a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Passion for helping others.
• Understanding of physical demands may involve but are not limited to communicating, standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and handling potentially hazardous chemicals.
• On‑time dependability because you know people are counting on you.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch.
