Job summary

St. Mary's Credit Union is hiring a full-time Member Service Representative at our Metrowest Framingham branch. The MSR is the first point of contact for members, delivering exceptional service while promoting financial products and services in line with policy.

No prior banking experience required. The MSR will cross-sell, open and maintain accounts, and assist with teller tasks and loan applications, while upholding regulatory compliance and branch performance goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus specialized coursework in retail services
• One year of previous experience as a teller or in a customer service role
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
• Solid, basic mathematical skills for counting cash
• Effective organizational and communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to utilize various types of office equipment including computer terminals and software
• Comm of Massachusetts Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Engage with members and provide courteous, efficient service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Recognize opportunities to cross-sell financial products to deepen member relationships
• Handle teller requests: deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, account maintenance
• Open, process, and close on consumer loan applications following lending procedures
• Adhere to compliance policies and procedures and maintain accurate records
• Develop and maintain strong member relationships and provide financial guidance
