Job summary

NGFCU is hiring a Member Service Representative I or II for an on-site role in Lake Charles, LA. The position, full-time, involves promoting credit union products, handling teller tasks, and assisting members with accounts and services.

Salary ranges from $23.07 to $27.00 hourly, with comprehensive benefits. Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least two years in a financial institution with sales success, along with strong knowledge of teller functions and MSR duties.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two years experience within a financial institution with demonstrated success in a sales environment.
• Expert knowledge of Teller functions, MSR functions, new accounts, member service, and loan products.

Responsibilities

• Promote credit union products and services to members.
• Assist with member inquiries on rates, accounts and transactions.
• Help members open new accounts (Shares, Money Market, IRAs, etc.).
• Provide phone support to Call Center and cross-functional support to other departments as needed.
• Maintain accuracy of documents and perform end-of-day reconciliations.
