Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA is hiring a Part-Time Member Services Associate for Kennedale YMCA. The role supports member needs, promotes memberships and programs, and helps maintain a welcoming front desk environment.

Opener, weekend, and evening shifts are available. Requires 18+, HS diploma, and basic computer skills with CPR/First Aid training within 30 days of hire. $11/hour with benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a HS diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work cooperatively.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups of people.
• Ability to handle monetary transactions accurately.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn YMCA AMA software.
• CPR/AED/First Aid and listed trainings to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Responds to member and guest needs and promotes memberships and programs.
• Opens, closes, and secures the YMCA building(s).
• Handles locker keys and towels and monitors locker rooms as required.
• Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants.
• Registers/sells and processes payments for programs and memberships.
• Maintains positive relationships with volunteers and members and helps connect people.
• Delivers welcoming, connection, and community involvement initiatives.
• Handles membership concerns and informs supervisor of issues.
• Ensures cash handling and merchandise procedures are followed.
• Completes data entry for closeouts and deposits.
