Job summary

REGIONAL Federal Credit Union in Northwest Indiana is seeking a full-time Member Service Advisor at our Winfield location. You will serve as liaison between members and the credit union, opening accounts and processing loan requests, while delivering friendly, accurate information on products and services.

You will greet members, handle inquiries by phone or in person, cross-sell products, and support senior staff with more complex questions. Equal employment opportunity statement included.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years general banking experience.
• 1-2 years consumer loan processing experience.
• 1 year home equity loan processing experience.
• Cross selling and consultative sales experience preferred.
• Bilingual-Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members and visitors professionally.
• Provide information on credit union products by phone or in person.
• Open accounts and assist with account closures.
• Process requests and disburse loans for lending products.
• Cross-sell products to develop member relationships.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all products and policies.
