Job summary

Virginia Farm Bureau Companies in Ashland, VA is seeking a dedicated Member Service Specialist for the Hanover County office. This full-time, non-exempt role offers a competitive annual salary and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30am to 5:00pm, with onboarding including licensing training.

You will assist county staff with insurance product processing and service, collaborate with the County Board, promote Farm Bureau Bank, and help members with health insurance needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative support.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Customer service oriented with a positive attitude.
• Property & Casualty license within 3 months (paid by company).
• Previous insurance experience preferred.
• Outside/Inside sales experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist county insurance staff with solicitation, processing and servicing of insurance products.
• Collaborate with the County Board of Directors.
• Promote Farm Bureau Bank.
• Assist individuals/members with health insurance needs.
