Job summary

Exos seeks a dynamic Member Services & Fitness Assistant to join a multi-tenant wellbeing center in New York. You will welcome members, enroll them, lead diverse group classes, and deliver personalized plans using Exos methodology.

The role blends client service with performance coaching to foster engagement and a holistic wellness culture. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, coaching one-on-one, ensuring safety, and supporting activity programs that promote retention and community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred; certification within 90 days acceptable.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required or obtained within 90 days.
• Minimum of 6 months industry experience, including internships.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome new fitness center members and enroll them smoothly.
• Lead and instruct group exercise classes for varied fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and prescribe personalized plans using Exos methodology.
• Provide one-on-one coaching, motivation, and personal training as needed.
• Monitor safety, form, and adherence to workout plans.
• Support membership reporting, onboarding, and engagement initiatives.
