Job summary

EFCU Financial in Zachary, LA, is seeking a Branch Service Representative to handle daily member transactions, open and maintain accounts, and advise on Credit Union products. You will support cash handling, compliance, and service delivery while promoting member satisfaction in a collaborative team environment.

The role includes Saturday support with a starting hourly rate between $21.00 and $23.49, based on experience, in a mission-driven, benefits-backed workplace that emphasizes integrity

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in member services/customer service in a full-service financial institution or cash handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Credit Union products and services is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and public relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with routine financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
• Open and maintain member accounts including savings, checking, certificates, and IRAs.
• Provide accurate information regarding Credit Union products, services, and policies.
• Support basic lending needs by facilitating loan applications and assisting with loan-related questions.
