Job Description - Non-Exempt
Position Title: Member Services Coordinator
Reports To: Assistant General Manager/General Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Purpose
The Member Services Coordinator speaks with existing members to understand the benefits of their membership and helps with any questions or concerns the member may have. They also greet guests and leads tours of units and immediate property with the intention of converting guests into East Canyon Resort Owners.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Presents information to the guest on the benefits of vacation ownership with East Canyon Resort.
• Completes property tours of the developed area of the resort and discuss membership classes and the benefits.
• Completes all aspects of membership sales, including but not limited to transfers, buybacks, withdrawal, and forfeitures of East Canyon Resort Share of Stock Membership.
• Studies and understands the Rules and Regulations and the Third Reinstated Bylaws put forth by the Board of Directors. Able to effectively communicate and discuss these rules with the members and staff and continuously stays up to date with the latest version of these documents.
• Markets different memberships, sets dynamic pricing and works to meet sales goals.
• Reviews welcome packets with all new members. Ensures all documents are completed correctly and recorded.
• Within the first 30 days of employment, needs to be registered with the State of Utah as a Timeshare Sales Agent. Keeps registration current throughout employment.
• Completes month end reporting.
• All other duties as assigned.
General Statement - Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.
Job Requirements
Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Maintain Timeshare Sales Agent Registration with the State of Utah.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
• Maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Excellent customer services skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn and be proficient in other software as needed.
• Flexible schedule
• Reliable form of transportation for year-round commute.
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
Shift: Weekends and holidays are required
• Regular Hours and Weekend
