Job summary

AlohaCare is a local, non-profit health plan serving Hawai`i’s low-income residents with Medicaid and Medicare coverage. The Customer Service Representative supports inbound/outbound calls, digital channels, and in-person interactions to retain members and ensure ongoing satisfaction.

The role requires high school diploma, 1 year of customer service, strong communication, and proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service or customer-facing responsibilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Fields a wide range of member and provider inquiries via calls, emails, texts, and chats.
• Maintains data integrity by entering and updating information in member and provider databases.
• Assists members with enrollment processes in QUEST Integration and Medicare programs.
• Handles inquiries and concerns in a professional and caring manner.
• Adheres to regulatory compliance and AlohaCare policies.
