Heritage Family Credit Union in Rutland, VT is hiring a Member Service Representative I (Credit Union Teller) to deliver exceptional member experiences at the Allen Street Branch.

The role includes processing transactions, promoting products, and maintaining accurate records while upholding credit union policies. There is a strong emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and community service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Problem solving and attention to detail required.
• Proficiency in basic math and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in a friendly, professional manner to deliver world class service.
• Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and transfers with accuracy.
• Support drive-up operations, branch opening/closing, and ATM/ITM servicing as needed.
• Follow AML/BSA policies and maintain knowledge of credit union products and services.
• Balance cash drawer daily and resolve discrepancies with supervision as needed.
• Communicate area activities and concerns to supervisor or branch management.
