Job summary

Virginia Farm Bureau in King William County seeks a Member Service Specialist to provide administrative support, assist with insurance products, and serve members with health insurance needs. This full-time, on-site role offers paid training, licensing support, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental insurance from day one and ample PTO.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with salary range $36,000–$56,000 annually.

• Previous administrative support experience.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Outstanding technical skills including MS Office applications.

STATUS: Non-exempt

LOCATION: King William office in King William County

REPORTS TO: Agency Manager

COMPENSATION: $36,000 - $56,000 Annually

Our King William County Farm Bureau Office has an excellent Full-Time opportunity available for a career oriented, customer focused individual.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

The Member Service Specialist is responsible for:

• Providing assistance to the county insurance staff in the solicitation, processing and servicing of our insurance products.
• Working with our County Board of Directors.
• Assist individuals/ members with health insurance needs.

Qualifications include:

• Previous administrative support experience
• Outstanding technical skills including MS Office applications
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Property & Casualty license (within 6 months of hire) Paid for by company
• Previous insurance experience preferred
• This is a W-2 position only
• Paid training for both licensing and standard sales training
• Ongoing development and support in all roles
• Medical and dental insurance on your first day
