Position Purpose
Serves as a representative of Cornerstone Credit Union to assist our members with their financial needs. Responsible for delivering on the CCU Brand Promise by providing prompt, efficient, and accurate member service in a courteous and professional manner. Maintain a thorough knowledge of Credit Union products, services, philosophies, and policies.

Essential Functions

• Independently maintain and balance assigned cash drawer.
• Perform routine member transactions accurately including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check disbursements, general ledger postings, dead end checks, and general functions.
• Maintain over/short practice, cash drawer limits.
• Handle problem resolutions using independent judgment to ensure member satisfaction, and know when to transfer the member to an appropriate CCU employee for resolution.
• Cross-sell services offered by CCU. Understand and promote CCU technology (i.e., EARS, CCU website, CU Branch, and CU Bill Pay).
• Comply with regulatory, compliance, and CCU procedures for all interactions.
• Work hours are 8:45 am-5:15 pm, with rotating Saturdays from 8:45 am-12:15 pm.
• This position is 20 hours per week. Flexibility in scheduling is required.

Skills Required

Must have a friendly and positive attitude with eagerness to assist members. Effective member relations and cross-selling skills are essential. Ability to manage multiple priorities professionally, work under pressure with strong attention to detail, and demonstrate follow-through on projects. Well-developed interpersonal communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in customer service or a similar role with cash handling responsibilities.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Service-minded attitude required.
• Basic PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and preparedness required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record check.
• Pay rate $16-$18, commensurate with experience.
