• Balances to computer totals within the required timeframe.
• Follows credit union policies to protect from loss or fraud.
• Meets performance standards for member utilization of products and services.
• Stays informed about products, procedures, and competition.

Member Service Representative I / Teller

REQUIRES PREVIOUS TELLER EXPERIENCE ALONG WITH FISERV SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE

We are currently seeking an experienced Member Service Representative I / Teller for a credit union located in Los Angeles, CA !

Type: Full-time, temporary (1 month) with a possibility of temp-to-hire

Pay: up to $25/hr (based on experience)

Branch Hours / Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:45am-5:00pm and Fridays 9:00am-5:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Inputs member transaction requests for account data changes, cash withdrawals, transfers, check withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Other transaction requests may also include traveler's checks, savings bonds, and money orders.
• Accurately answers member questions regarding credit union products, services, and general credit union policies in a friendly and courteous manner by phone or in person.
• Consistently balance to computer-generated totals within the required timeframe.
• Follows credit union policies and procedures to protects the credit union from exposure to loss or fraud.
• Meets or exceeds assigned performance standards and goals pertaining to member utilization of credit union products and services.
• Stays informed of credit union products, services, procedures, new developments, and knowledge of the competition and their products.

Requirements:

• 1 year of teller experience within a credit union or bank.
• Previous Fiserv experience required. Previous Fiserv Portico experience highly desired!
• Shared branching experience a plus!
• Bilingual Polish highly desired!
• Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate communication and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability of handling a variety of customer requests including difficult customer situations.
• Possess an enthusiastic and professional attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
