Member Service Representative

Rockland Federal Credit Union is looking for an outgoing, friendly, service-focused individual to join our team in Walpole. If you enjoy working with and helping people and have banking experience, this could be the position for you!

A day in the life as a Member Service Representative

Working in our Walpole branch will put you face-to-face with our members while simultaneously representing a role model for other colleagues. In addition to performing a variety of member service functions, you will assist in the development of Member Service Associates' sales and servicing skills in leading by example, providing positive reinforcement and recognizing areas for improvement. You will set up new IRA accounts, interview and advise loan applicants and open new accounts of all types.

The Member Service Representative position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of related experience in a bank of Credit Union. Knowledge of Credit Union products/services with the ability to cross-sell. Ability to communicate effectively with members and staff at all levels of the organization. Ability to project a positive and professional image. Ability to perform work with accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and prioritize work. Ability to proficiently operate a computer keyboard, typewriter and adding machine, check scanner and coin machine.

Work Schedule and Benefits

As a Member Service Representative, you will work a 40-hour, full-time schedule that includes extended hours on Thursday and Friday, and a half-day every other Saturday.
