The Member Services Representative is responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk activities including:
• Answer phones courteously and assist callers with inquiries.
• Check members into the system.
• Assist with new member sign-ups.
• Conduct tours for prospective members.
• Update members’ accounts as needed.
• Respond promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Positive, upbeat attitude!
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact positively and professionally with members and staff, exceeding expectations.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and resolve problems.
• Diplomatic in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk continuously during shifts.
• Speak in person and on the phone regularly.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequently bend, reach, and kneel for cleaning tasks.
• Occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shifts.
