AmeriCU Credit Union in Rome, NY is recruiting a Member Service Representative to deliver exceptional member experiences and build lasting relationships. You will handle traditional teller transactions, support ITM technology, and actively contribute to the credit union’s mission of helping members achieve financial success.

You will train new desk and teller staff, partner with internal teams, and ensure accurate CRM documentation while staying compliant with BSA and SAFE Act regulations.

Member Service Representative – AmeriCU Credit Union (Rome, NY)

AmeriCU Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative who is passionate about delivering exceptional member experiences and building meaningful relationships. As a Member Service Representative, you’ll play a key role in supporting our mission of helping members live life, dream big, and achieve financial success.

What You’ll Do As a Member Service Representative

• Member Experience & Service: Greet members enthusiastically, model the team culture, and act as the primary liaison for traditional teller transactions and interactive teller machine (ITM) technology.
• Relationship Building & Growth: Retain, expand, and acquire member relationships by cross-selling products, conducting courtesy calls, and meeting annual sales and relationship goals.
• Internal Partnerships & CRM Management: Collaborate with business partners to deepen member relationships and accurately record all member interactions in the CRM system.
• Training & Onboarding: Serve as the lead trainer for desk and teller line new hires within the Financial Center, providing regional support as needed.
• Operations & Compliance: Perform account servicing and file maintenance while strictly adhering to credit union policies, operational risk controls, and regulatory standards (including BSA and SAFE Act).
• Community Engagement: Demonstrate active involvement and engagement within the local community.
