Member Service Representative

(PRECorp), a member-owned electric cooperative serving residential and commercial customers across five counties in northeast Wyoming, is accepting applications for a Member Service Representative at our Sundance office.

As a Member Service Representative (MSR), your role involves delivering prompt, efficient, and courteous service to PRECorp's member-owners. PRECorp seeks energetic professionals who prioritize meeting the needs of the cooperative's members. Multi-tasking is a must as a MSR's typical duties include responding to member calls, emails, and walk-ins, assisting with inquiries about billing, payments, rates, and electric usage, and helping with payment arrangements, capital credit questions, and related processes. MSR's also create service orders for various requests, such as new services, disconnections/retirements, reconnections, service transfers, upgrades, and issues with security lights or equipment.

Additionally, PRECorp's MSRs provide members with information about special programs like PREPay, Heat Rate, Net Metering, Budget Billing, and Time of Use Rate, which are detailed on the Powder River Energy Corporation website under the "Energy Center" tab. As a MSR, you are expected to maintain high standards of productivity, efficiency, quality, and professionalism in fulfilling the cooperative's member service needs.

This position requires a high school education and a minimum of one to two years of general office experience. Proven experience in working within multi-faceted software system is a must as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills are critical and bilingual communications are desired.
