Job summary

Preferred Credit Union is seeking a Member Services Representative for our Ludington branch. In this role, the successful candidate will provide superior member service to all members and prospective members, in person, online, and over the phone.

The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, kind, courteous, respectful individual with an AMAZING ATTITUDE. Responsibilities include assisting members, supporting tellers with deposits and other transactions, resolving issues promptly, educating members

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a face-to-face customer service role is required.
• Experience in a credit union or other financial institution is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service by responding to member needs in person, via phone, or email with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Support the Teller by accurately processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions.
• Address and resolve member concerns or complaints promptly.
• Educate members about our products and services to help them meet their financial goals.
• Work closely with team members and other departments to support overall credit union operations and initiatives.

• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with members and staff.
