Job summary

All In Credit Union in Enterprise, AL is seeking a Member Service Representative to support branch operations and member needs. You will assist with loans, accounts, deposits, and documentation while upholding Credit Union standards.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of related experience in a financial or banking environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and professional interaction with members and colleagues.
• Knowledge of BSA/OFAC compliance, with the ability to assist members with related inquiries.
• Willingness to register for NMLS; Notary Public certification may be required.
• Must complete annual BSA training and stay updated on applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with loan and credit card applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
• Process and disburse loan proceeds, ensuring proper documentation and scheduling loan closings with members.
• Prepare month-end reporting and ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Open and close accounts, including investments and IRA accounts, while maintaining up-to-date records.
• Conduct checks, such as SSN verification, to prevent fraudulent accounts or accounts with outstanding balances.
• Serve as a liaison between members and various departments, ensuring clear communication.
• Process and authenticate financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wires, and more.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for Credit Union products and services to enhance member engagement.
• Perform administrative tasks including filing, data entry, equipment maintenance, and answering phones.
• Register and participate in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required.
• Provide notary services (if applicable) in compliance with state regulations.
• Act as the Membership Officer, supporting high levels of member satisfaction.
