Job summary

Soo Co-op Credit Union is seeking a full-time Member Service Representative to greet members, process transactions, and maintain accounts with accuracy. Youll promote credit union products, adhere to security and compliance policies, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional service within Michigan communities.

Strong communication, confidentiality, and a willingness to learn are valued; prior financial or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a financial institution or customer service role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with all policies.

Responsibilities

• Process member deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist members with account inquiries, balance information, and account maintenance.
• Promote credit union products and services to meet member needs.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area.
• Adhere to security and compliance procedures to protect members' financial assets.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a supportive, cohesive work environment.
