Job summary

Tinker Federal Credit Union in Oklahoma City is seeking a Member Service Officer (MSO), Floater, to support branches across Oklahoma and Texas. The role involves helping members open accounts, process loan applications, and perform a range of financial transactions while traveling between sites.

As a Floater MSO, you will train staff, assist with various branch services, and adapt to different locations. A strong attention to policy, confidentiality, and customer service is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant work experience required.
• Financial institution experience preferred.

As a Member Service Officer (MSO), Floater, you will be responsible for the following:

• Traveling to various TFCU locations around the state of Oklahoma & to the TFCU branches in Texas as needed.
• Assisting members with opening new accounts, taking loan applications, and performing financial and non-financial transactions
• Serving members with various services provided at each branch, including but not limited to assisting with providing access to safe deposit boxes
• Assisting with training other team members on a variety of topics needed to perform their duties
• Handling various levels of diversified member and financial transactions, which could be specific to different locations

Salary Range:

This is a non-exempt position. The starting hourly rate is $24.64 per hour; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.

Schedule:

Anticipated schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday-Friday & 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM rotating Saturdays. This position floats to different TFCU locations at any time (both in Oklahoma and Texas) and requires flexibility to accommodate different locations and duties.

Education/Experience:

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and three years of applicable work experience in a closely related position is required. Financial institution experience is preferred.

Applicable additional education levels or relevant but not required certifications may be eligible to satisfy minimum experience requirements.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority.
• TFCU University certification required and completed.
• Valid driver’s license, maintaining an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• SAFE Act registration required.
• Complete and pass regulations training.
• Complete and pass MSO Floater Training.

In order to be successful as a Member Service Officer (MSO), Floater, you must possess these qualifications:

• Ability to travel to all TFCU locations in both Oklahoma and Texas as needed.
• Reliable transportation to travel to various TFCU locations.
• Knowledge of lending policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of TFCU history, code of ethics, products, and services.
• Knowledge of privacy procedures, confidentiality guidelines and cash handling standards.
• Knowledge of Reg. CC, Reg. DD, Reg. J, Reg. D, Reg. E., Reg. B and Reg. Z.
• Knowledge of Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) rules for Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) share insurance rules.
• Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment.
