Job summary

ProFed Credit Union seeks a Member Service Associate who is primarily responsible for processing member transactions and providing a variety of member services in an accurate, efficient, and courteous manner. This role provides assistance and support to Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in branch deposit, lending, and security operations.

It also involves providing leadership, technical guidance, and training to Member Service Associate staff members and actively promoting credit union

Qualifications

• Friendly, well-organized image and professional demeanor.
• Ability to balance cash drawer consistently.
• Ability to learn credit union transaction processing systems.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and support to Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager as needed
• Conduct loan interviews and process loan applications and documentation
• Provide leadership, technical guidance, and training to Member Service Associate staff members
• Execute member transactions and provide general information in an accurate, efficient, and courteous manner
• Actively promote credit union products and services
• Maintain proper control of cash, transactions, and documents
• Maintain a neat and organized work area
• Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions
• Additional duties as assigned
