Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years experience in a banker role
• 1+ year as MSS II or teller role at Golden 1 or another financial institution preferred

Responsibilities

• Process and audit financial transactions with cash drawer.
• Provide Golden 1 services including cashier’s checks, money orders, debit card issuance.
• Assess members' needs and document in EnAct.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell Golden 1 products.
• Report fraudulent activity to management and Financial Investigations dept.
• Operate ATM and Teller Cash Dispenser units.
• Lead for open/close in MSS IV absence.
• Activate alarms.
• Verify signature cards in ECM.
• Approve signature cards within limits.
• Ensure confidentiality of member/credit union information.
• Maintain knowledge of Golden 1 products, policies, and teller procedures.
• Perform additional branch operations (TCR, SBO, Safe deposit box).
• Open deposit and specialty accounts (e.g., Roth IRA).
• Mentor MSSIs/MSSII’s.
• Develop coaching and leadership skills.
• Engage in consultative dialogue with members and document in EnAct.
• Enroll members in online/mobile channels.
• Refer home lending/investment needs via EnAct referrals.
• Process consumer loan applications and fulfill loans.
• Audit loan reports and coach to avoid errors.
• Provide approvals per authorized limits.
• Notarize member documents.
• Collect medallion stamp requests and route for approval.
• Maintain knowledge of state/federal laws and AML regulations.
