First Financial Credit Union is seeking a Full Time Member Service Representative in our Montclair, CA branch. You will guide members through accounts, loans, and services, while promoting products and achieving service sales goals.

The ideal candidate has banking experience, strong cash handling and communication skills, and a customer‑first mindset. You will support branch operations and learn through ongoing training to advance within the credit union.

Qualificações

• High School graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• At least two years of prior banking experience or minimum six months in New Accounts and Consumer Loan experience; Real Estate experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum six months of customer service and cash handling experience.
• Ability to work a schedule that may include weekends.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to navigate multiple screens and PC applications; adaptable to new technology; multitask.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Provide information on all accounts, services and products; promote and cross-sell to meet targets.
• Interview members to obtain documentation for loans and open various accounts.
• Process loan disbursements and assemble loan packages for timely forwarding.
• Prepare audits on member accounts and make correcting entries as needed.
• Resolve member issues and diagnose account problems quickly.
• Handle DMV paperwork and back-up teller duties including cash handling.
• Open/close accounts via computer terminal and maintain balances.
• Participate in online training to improve sales/service skills and meet goals.
• Conduct outbound calls to promote services and resolve member questions.
