Job summary

General Electric Credit Union is seeking a Relationship Banker in Highland Heights to provide consultative financial guidance and build lasting member relationships. You will greet members, uncover goals, recommend GECU products, and manage a growing book of business through proactive conversations and outbound calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of customer service experience.
• Minimum one year of experience in a financial institution or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct members as they enter the branch.
• Uncover members’ financial goals and needs through consultative conversations.
• Advise members on GECU products and services that help achieve financial goals.
• Manage a book of business to meet sales and service goals through consultative conversations and outbound calls.
• Open and close various depository accounts following policies and procedures.
• Perform account maintenance and assist with updates to addresses and names.
• Investigate and resolve member account issues with internal teams.
• Conduct teller transactions and handle cash accurately.
• Facilitate consumer loan applications, including interviewing and document collection for underwriting.
• Notarize member documents as needed and manage loan closings.
