Hiring: Member of Technical Staff – Product Engineer

ForceV Technologies is hiring a Member of Technical Staff – Product Engineer for a fast-growing, Series A AI startup building intelligent automation software for the insurance brokerage industry. The team is developing production-grade AI systems that automate complex workflows involving large documents, spreadsheets, and legacy enterprise applications.

This role is ideal for a strong product engineer who can work across the full stack, solve complex engineering challenges, and take AI-powered products from initial development to scalable production systems.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and ship end-to-end product features across frontend and backend applications.
• Build AI-powered document processing systems capable of handling large, complex PDF files and Excel spreadsheets.
• Develop browser automation systems that interact reliably with legacy enterprise applications and workflows.
• Design and implement scalable backend services, APIs, and application infrastructure to support increasing system volume and throughput.
• Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces using TypeScript-based technologies.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability across the technology stack.
• Debug complex production issues and implement robust, maintainable solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, well-tested code and establish appropriate test coverage.
• Own the complete product development lifecycle, from prototyping and MVP development to production deployment and scaling.
• Collaborate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Evaluate engineering trade-offs and balance rapid delivery with long-term maintainability.
  

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern software development practices.
• Demonstrated experience building and shipping production-ready, user-facing software products.
• Experience developing full-stack applications across frontend and backend layers.
• Strong understanding of scalable system design, application performance, and software architecture.
• Experience designing, debugging, and maintaining complex software systems.
• Ability to develop reliable solutions quickly, iterate based on feedback, and take ownership of technical outcomes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python for backend development, automation, or AI-related applications.
• Experience building AI-powered applications or integrating AI capabilities into production software.
• Experience processing large or complex documents, including PDFs and Excel files.
• Experience developing browser automation, web scraping, or integrations with legacy enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with asynchronous processing, distributed systems, and high-throughput application architectures.
• Experience taking products from 0→1 development through 1→10 scaling.
  

Engineering Environment:

The role involves full-stack product development, TypeScript-based engineering, backend systems, document processing, browser automation, and AI-driven workflow automation. Candidates should be comfortable working across application layers and making technical decisions that directly affect product performance and customer outcomes.

• Work Arrangement: On-site, five days per week
• Base Salary: $175,000–$320,000
