Job summary

Antramo, Inc. in San Francisco is building a coding agent platform for enterprise automation. You will own major parts of the system end to end, including the agents that build and repair automations, the deployment and monitoring surface, and the scalable infrastructure that runs them.

This role requires you to take ambiguous problems, make sound technical calls, and ship without a hand-off spec. Reliability is critical because downtime delays patient care in healthcare implementations.

Qualifications

• Has at least 2 years of experience shipping and operating production software.
• Has owned a production software system end to end.
• Has held on-call or equivalent responsibility for responding to production system failures.
• Has experience delivering software across frontend, backend, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Has experience working with production cloud infrastructure.
• Has experience working directly with customers or using customer feedback to shape product development.

Responsibilities

• Improve the agent system that creates and repairs automations through browser automation primitives.
• Scale the worker orchestration, job queues, and real-time coordination toward millions of daily runs.
• Build the APIs, SDKs, and observability tooling customers use to understand why an automation failed and how to fix it.
• Ship features across the stack (frontend, backend, database, infrastructure) based on customer feedback.
• Set engineering standards and help shape how the team builds as we grow.

Our Client is building the coding agent for enterprise computer automation. Their developer platform writes, tests, and maintains automation code on fully-managed infrastructure, cutting dev time by 90%. They're starting with healthcare, where legacy systems make reliable automation a genuinely hard problem. Our client's productis the easiest way for developers to build fast and reliable browser agents. Simply design your workflow once, trigger it over our API, and our client's productautomatically repairs any issues to keep it running smoothly. They're serving tens of thousands of runs every day to automate repetitive healthcare back office work.

The Role

You'll own major parts of the system end to end: the agents that build and repair automations, the platform customers use to deploy and monitor them, and the infrastructure that runs them reliably at scale. They need someone who can take an ambiguous problem, make sound technical calls, and ship, without needing a spec handed to them.

Reliability matters a lot here. When a customer's automation fails, operations get delayed and patients don't get care.

What You'll Work On

• Improve the agent system (workflow builder and maintenance agents) that creates and repairs automations through tool-calling over browser automation primitives
• Scale the worker orchestration, job queues, and real-time coordination layer from tens of thousands of daily runs toward millions
• Build the APIs, SDKs, and observability tooling customers use to understand why an automation failed and how to fix it
• Ship features across the stack (frontend, backend, database, infrastructure) based directly on customer feedback
• Set engineering standards and help shape how the team builds as we grow

You Might Be a Fit If

• You have 2+ years of experience shipping and operating production software
• You've owned a system end to end and were the person paged when it broke
• You're comfortable across the stack and with production cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• You have strong product intuition and like talking to customers
• You ship fast, iterate on feedback, and still take pride in craft
• Bonus: experience with browser automation, LLM agents, distributed systems, or healthcare data
