Job summary

UFCU is seeking a Personal Banker in Texas to deliver outstanding Member service by processing transactions and resolving account-related issues of moderate complexity. You will identify Members’ financial needs, recommend solutions, and support them in achieving financial goals through a consultative approach.

You will participate in events, collaborate with internal partners, and help drive business development while upholding UFCU’s values and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in customer service and working in a team environment.
• Consultative sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to Members.
• Respond and resolve member needs and service requests.
• Open consumer deposit accounts and Certificates of Deposit.
• Read and review credit reports with members.
• Process loan applications, financial transactions, and other service requests.
• Assess and anticipate member needs, and refer members to appropriate business partners.
• Provide notary and safe deposit box services.
• Assist with fraud disputes.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Host tables, participate in events, and attend SEG events.
• Connect members with internal business partners to help problem solve.
• Adhere to company policies and internal controls.
