Job summary

ALLIANCE Credit Union seeks a member-focused professional to provide courteous service and accurate information on credit union products and services in line with policies and regulations.

The role includes interviewing and evaluating loan applicants, gathering financial and credit history, processing loan applications, and supporting teller and member service functions while opening new accounts and maintaining existing ones.

Responsibilities

• Serve the members of Alliance Credit Union with professional, courteous service.
• Provide information on credit union products and services according to all credit union policies and procedures and Federal and State rules and regulations.
• Interview and evaluate applicants for routine loans and processing applications.
• Gather background information, financial information, and credit history for the purpose of determining qualifying status of consumer loans.
• Operate under assigned lending authority.
• Perform teller and member service functions proficiently.
• Open new consumer accounts, money markets and certificates.
• Perform account maintenance such as adding/removing joint owners and changing beneficiaries.
• In situations outside of their areas of responsibility, assist the member in contacting the proper department for the services needed.
