Job summary

FMFCU/SFN, Springfield Branch in Springfield, PA, is hiring for a Full Time Member Service Specialist. You will onboard new members, service existing accounts, and actively cross-sell credit union products to meet branch goals.

Responsibilities include processing loans, opening memberships, and supporting daily cash handling while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with BSA/OFAC and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; two years of college preferred.
• Two+ years related financial services experience required.
• Hands-on with member onboarding and relationship servicing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates needs of new and existing members and offers appropriate financial products and services.
• Expands member relationships through active selling of credit union products to meet goals.
• Opens and closes new memberships, including IRA, Trust, and Estate.
• Processes loans with accuracy and efficiency.
• Supports branch settlement of cash and negotiable instruments.
• Ensures compliance with BSA/OFAC and audit standards.
