Job summary

Nusenda Credit Union seeks a Full-Time Teller at the Valencia Branch who will be the member’s first point of contact, handling routine financial transactions with accuracy and a consultative service approach. The role requires 1–3 years of related banking experience, a high school diploma, and a flexible schedule including Monday–Saturday, 37–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

Must have 1–3 years of similar or related experience.
Previous banking experience preferred.
Equivalent to a high school education.

Responsibilities

Process member financial transactions with accuracy and in accordance with policies and regulations.
Handle cash, negotiable instruments, transfers, and loan/credit card payments.
Educate members on products using a needs-based sales approach and refer to specialists when needed.
Assist with opening and closing procedures to ensure smooth operations.
Serve as vault teller and manage vault cash duties including cash ordering.
Assist management with training and development of tellers.
