Job summary

Bloom Credit Union in the Greater Grand Rapids area is seeking a friendly Teller to provide professional, confidential member service. You will handle transactions by phone, in person, or by mail, balance daily cash and support members in meeting their financial goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years cash handling, and outstanding customer service with strong written and oral communication. A background check is required and Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of cash handling experience.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Ability to work Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Balance checks and cash drawer daily; report discrepancies.
• Welcoming members and processing transactions in person, by phone, or by mail.
• Manage time efficiently and seek opportunities to learn.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude in complex situations.
• Cash share drafts/checks and process withdrawals after verification.
• Answer phones promptly and professionally.
• Meet and exceed teller referral goals.
• Follow safety procedures for robbery and emergencies.
• Understand policies and compliance, including BSA/AML and OFAC.
