Job summary

Bloom Credit Union in Grand Rapids is seeking a friendly Teller to provide members with professional, confidential service while processing transactions in person, by phone, or by mail. You will balance cash drawer daily, greet members, and help them achieve their financial goals with accurate and timely service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year cash handling, excellent written and oral communication, and a strong customer service mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of cash handling experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Positive team player mindset.
• Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Available to work Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Balance cash drawer daily and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Greet members and provide courteous, professional service for transactions.
• Manage time efficiently and seek opportunities to develop knowledge.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude in complex situations.
• Cash share drafts/checks and process withdrawals after verification.
• Answer phones promptly and professionally.
• Meet and exceed teller referral goals.
• Follow safety and security procedures and report suspicious activity.
• Understand and comply with all policies and regulatory requirements (BSA/AML and OFAC).
