Job summary

UW Credit Union is hiring a Full-Time Teller to serve members at the Pier 37 Branch. You will perform everyday transactions accurately and enthusiastically, while identifying opportunities to refer UW Credit Union products that fit members’ financial goals.

As a Full-Time Teller, you will build trust, maintain cash accuracy, and uphold branch policies. You’ll contribute to a Members for Life culture by delivering friendly, knowledgeable service and supporting team objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to work with customers of all ages.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
• Team player that can jump in where needed.
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of UW Credit Union by providing front facing member service at the Pier 37 branch location.
• Achieve balanced scorecard results in alignment with Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
• Maintain a high degree of knowledge in all UW Credit Union products and services.
• Ensure all member requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to UW Credit Union’s Cash Management policies and procedures.
• Research teller transactions when potential errors are identified and communicate with affected members.
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through building rapport and referrals.
• Consistently seek opportunities to exceed member expectations.
