Job summary

Mountain America Credit Union seeks a Financial Service Representative (Loan Officer) at the Mesa Power Road Branch. This role delivers exceptional member service, assists with opening accounts, explains products, and supports loan servicing while cross-selling services to help members achieve their financial dreams.

The FSR I will originate loans, interview applicants, review credit, prepare documents, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Notary Public and NMLS certification are required/training to be completed.
• Must qualify annually as Mortgage Loan Originator under SAFE Act; regulatory trainings specified.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service, assess and advise on financial options, cross-sell products.
• Originate loans: interview applicants, review credit, prepare documents, conduct closings for home equity, auto, personal loans.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with BSA, OFAC, FACT Act, GLBA, and related laws; perform loan servicing duties.
