Greater Iowa Credit Union is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment for branches, operations, and corporate roles. You will partner with hiring managers to attract, evaluate, and hire candidates who fit our service-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar recruitment experience.
• Two-year degree or accredited certification or vendor training.
• Confidentiality and discretion in dealing with information.
• Strong organization and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs; travel to branches as needed.
• Office environment with standard noise level; travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end recruitment for assigned positions, including posting, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers.
• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and selection criteria.
• Prepare and maintain employment records for hires, terminations, transfers, or promotions.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and credit union regulations.
• Initiate background and credit checks and other pre-employment steps.
• Maintain ATS and HR records with data integrity and confidentiality.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
