Job summary

Altra Federal Credit Union is seeking a motivated Financial Services Representative for our Tyler, TX (Troup Hwy) office. The FSR will serve as the face of the credit union, assisting members with on-site financial needs and delivering exceptional service.

The role requires product knowledge, strong service skills, and the ability to promote credit union offerings. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and a strong emphasis on member well‑being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum one (1) year of banking, financial services, customer service or retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping people.

Responsibilities

• Provide account services to members, including opening new accounts and processing transactions.
• Analyze members’ needs and recommend suitable solutions (loans, savings, credit cards, investments).
• Deliver exceptional service while educating members about financial tools and services.
• Promote credit union products and services through conversations.
• Provide Notary services.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Serve as a liaison between members and the credit union, supporting branch operations.
