Job summary

Coastal1 Credit Union in Bristol, RI is seeking a Teller for our Metacom Ave Branch. The ideal candidate will provide friendly member service, handle cash transactions, and help members understand our products and digital banking tools to bank smarter.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Cash-handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member service from start to finish.
• Process all member transactions accurately and promptly; these include withdrawals, deposits, check cashing, loan payments, cashier’s checks, money orders and inquiries.
• Follows established processes and guidelines in daily activities to do what is right for members and Coastal1 Credit Union, adhering to all applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
• Assists members with general account questions within the scope of their role from start to finish.
• Prioritizes learning about products and services and navigate internal portals to find answers in an efficient manner.
