Job summary

Wellby Financial in the Greater Houston area is seeking a full-time Teller to handle member transactions with accuracy and a strong focus on service. You will educate members on banking services, process deposits and withdrawals, and balance cash drawers while maintaining security and confidentiality.

You will greet members, manage lobby flow, and support other branches as needed. The role requires one year of cash handling and a high school diploma, with opportunities to grow within the credit

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• Minimum one year experience in member service, financial services, or similar retail experience preferred.
• Previous experience working directly with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform member banking transactions with accuracy.
• Educate members on banking services and products.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, and related transactions.
• Balance cash drawers at end of shifts and maintain vault security.
• Enter transactions into the bank’s system and generate receipts.
• Adhere to Bank Secrecy Act and Wellby policies.
