Qualifications

• 1 month to 12 months of similar or related experience.
• Cash handling experience preferred (6 months).
• High school education or GED required.
• Interpersonal skills for contacts with members and vendors.
• Proficient with ten-key calculator and touch keyboarding.
• Ability to use an online computer system and organize transactions.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments).
• Balances cash drawer and notifies Head Teller of discrepancies.
• Post transactions to member accounts and maintain records per procedures.
• Greet members and provide routine information on services; direct to appropriate department.
• Prepare Currency Transaction Reports and report suspicious activity.
• Cross-sell Credit Union services.
• Handle night drop and ATM deposits; perform other duties as assigned.
