Job summary

AmFirst is hiring a Teller to serve members with cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, and payment processing. You will engage with members, explain services, and promote credit union products in a friendly, professional manner. The position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork within the branch.

You will balance the drawer daily, assist with reconciliations, and support night drop/ATM processing. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–12 months of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED required.
• Intermediate PC knowledge with Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives, evaluates, and processes basic financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with accuracy.
• Post transactions to member accounts and maintain records per procedures.
• Greets and assists members, providing routine information and addressing needs confidentially.
• Promotes and cross-sells credit union products and services to members.
• Balances cash drawer daily and resolves discrepancies with supervision.
• Assists with reconciling daily transactions and ATM deposits.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
