Job summary

Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Account Specialist (Teller) for our Saugerties branch. You will handle member transactions, promote credit union products, and support daily branch operations with a focus on accuracy and service.

Responsibilities include cash handling, balancing, and assisting members with online banking and Safe Deposit needs, while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• One year to three years of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services to meet member needs.
• Assist with daily tape/line balancing and end-of-day procedures.
• Maintain workstation organization and protect member privacy.
• Support training of new teller staff and contribute to branch goals.
