Job summary

KALSEE Credit Union is seeking a Member Experience Representative (MER) to build relationships and promote financial wellness for Members. The MER delivers outstanding service, recommending appropriate products to help Members save time, money, and gain peace of mind.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance, balancing cash drawers, and supporting daily office tasks. Strong communication and accuracy are essential to succeed in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous financial industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to learn and apply a variety of software applications.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in a retail service environment to include cash handling and member service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide extraordinary member service by being knowledgeable, engaging with Members, and applying defined service standards.
• Listen actively to understand and answer Members’ questions/concerns, and offer guidance to appropriate products and services.
• Accurately process transactions in accordance to MER responsibilities, including cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals and other transactions.
• Review activities for compliance with policies and regulations (BSA/OFAC). Participate in annual training.
• Balance assigned cash drawer daily and at end of day.
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as end-of-day activities, filing, answering phones, and maintaining supplies.
