Job summary

KALSEE Credit Union in Washington seeks a Customer-Facing Member Experience Representative/Teller to deliver exceptional service, process transactions, and support members with financial products and guidance.

The role emphasizes active listening, referrals to suitable services, and strict adherence to banking policies, including BSA/OFAC compliance, with accurate cash handling and daily balancing.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous financial industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to learn and apply a variety of software applications.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in a retail service environment to include cash handling and member service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide extraordinary member service by being knowledgeable, engaging with Members, and applying defined service standards.
• Listen actively to understand and answer Members’ questions/concerns and offer guidance to appropriate products and services.
• Proactively identify and make qualified referrals for Members to help them make money, save money, and/or add convenience.
• Accurately process transactions in accordance to MER responsibilities (e.g., cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, etc.).
• Review activities for compliance with policies, procedures and regulations (e.g., BSA/OFAC).
• Balance assigned cash drawer daily and perform end-of-day tasks.
