Job summary

Telhio Credit Union in Ohio seeks a friendly Teller to be the face of the branch, welcoming members and handling a variety of transactions with accuracy and care.

You will inform members about Telhio products, cross-sell where appropriate, and maintain strong relationships while protecting confidentiality and adhering to security procedures. A high school diploma and cash-handling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1–3 years cash handling experience preferred.
• Less than 1 year experience in customer service preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills for high accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to operate standard office machines.
• Team attitude and professionalism at all times.
• Strong relationship-building and member advisory skills.
• Background check including credit, drug screen, bondability and criminal history.

Responsibilities

• Process member and non-member transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Inform members about products, services and current promotions.
• Cross-sell Telhio products by identifying needs and guiding to appropriate staff.
• Refer members to Relationship/ Senior Bankers for further sessions.
• Establish and maintain strong member relationships and provide guidance.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect credit union operations.
• Balance cash drawers accurately.
• Comply with operations and security procedures; participate in dual control.
• Assist in audits as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned and conform to policies.
