Job summary

Indiana Members Credit Union is seeking a Teller to serve as the primary member contact in our branch, handling deposits, withdrawals, payments and cash transactions with accuracy and confidentiality.

You will balance cash, open/close accounts, issue debit/ATM cards, and assist with wire transfers and payroll forms while delivering excellent customer service. A high school diploma and cash-handling experience are required, along with solid computer skills and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior cash handling and customer service experience.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Basic computer and technology skills for banking systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Honest, accountable and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in core banking systems, CRM and imaging after training.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions: deposits, withdrawals, loans and payments, money orders and cashier checks.
• Open/close accounts and issue debit/ATM cards.
• Balance cash drawer daily and handle cash securely.
• Assist members with wire transfers and payroll/direct deposit forms.
• Communicate with back-office teams to fulfill member requests.
