Job summary

GreenState Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative to provide quality, professional service to members and staff in daily transactions and inquiries. This role is the face of the credit union and requires accuracy, integrity, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

The MSR will handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions, educate members on products and services, and refer customers to specialized departments as needed to meet team goals.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of deposit products and regulations.
• Accuracy in the handling of cash, recording daily transactions, and attention to detail.
• Good telephone manners and techniques.
• Ability to work with minimal direction and exercise sound judgment.
• Member account problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the Credit Union Service Standards in carrying out GreenState's mission and vision.
• Demonstrates a positive member service focus with members and guests.
• Balances, maintains, and corrects cash handling procedures and drawer reconciliation.
• Performs member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
• Builds member relationships by identifying financial needs and directing to the appropriate department.
