Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
• Knowledge of financial products and services offered by credit unions (checking accounts, loans, mortgages, etc.) preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Establish new member relationships and open appropriate consumer and deposit accounts based on financial needs.
• Retain and build existing member relationships using a consultative approach and advise on relevant products.
• Process transactions accurately and promote self-service banking options (online banking, mobile apps).
• Refer qualified members to specialists (investments, mortgages, lending) when appropriate.
• Support branch operations, balance the vault, and assist with opening/closing duties.
