Consumers Credit Union seeks a friendly Member Service Representative to join our Battle Creek and Marshall teams. You will handle daily member interactions, open accounts, process IRA transactions, and guide members through online banking and Bill Pay.

You will support loan origination, maintain CRM notes, and build relationships while adhering to security and confidentiality standards. A positive, detail-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Cash handling and basic math proficiency.
• Ability to navigate multiple software environments.
• Home Equity certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member service.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely manner and promote credit union products.
• Diffuse difficult member situations and resolve concerns.
• Open new accounts, including IRA accounts, and process IRA transactions.
• Demonstrate online banking and Bill Pay; manage debit cards and direct deposits.
• Originate loan applications and gather required documents for approval.
• Grow member relationships through follow-up and CRM documentation.
• Establish and maintain business accounts and perform maintenance.
• Process daily teller operations and ensure accurate balancing.
• Uphold member confidentiality and comply with security guidelines.
